Miles Apart
Smoked salmon, vintage wines,
Designer labels, linen covered tables,
Life for the rich is divine!
Mealies in a blackened pot,
Pilchards rarely, that’s the lot.
Water carried far from the river,
Darkening evenings cause a shiver.
Children play by mud-covered cattle,
TB makes their little chests rattle.
Schools are poor, no window or light.

A. Ordering is simple. All you have to do is browse the site and when you see something that you want to buy, choose Add to Cart. This will add the item to your shopping cart (on the top right-hand side of the page).

Q. How do I complete my Order?

Q. Can I pay using PayPal?
A.No! Don't shout at us, rather blame the South African Exchange Controls (Reserve Bank) who have told Paypal that South African residents are not allowed to accept payments via PayPal. We are investigating a method to circumvent this legally. Watch this space.
Q. Why can't I pay by Credit Card?
A. The large credit card companies have changed their rules. We are in the process of changing our gateway information so that we can once again accept credit cards. As soon as we have this sorted out, we will make payment by credit card available again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Q. What do I need to know to pay into your account from outside South Africa
A. In addition to our bank account information, the Swift Code is ABSAZAJJ and the Branch is 632005
Q. I am a returning customer, what do I need to know?
A. Since we updated the system, we have reset everyone's passwords. You need to request a new password to be able to log in. On the login screen, select the link for Forgot your password? and then fill in in your email address and we will email you your new password.
